Going on a Bear Hunt (half or full day with extension activities)

A child-led programme based on the popular book.  Combining drama, a sensory walk, mini shelter building and clay, the woodland is transformed into a teddy bears community.

Focus:  Communities & Communication

Forest School-style Day (half or full day)

Child led sessions based solely around the Forest School ethos, building confidence and gaining life skills.  Activities such as shelter building, natural crafts, firelighting and much more.

Focus:  Decision Making, Communication and Personal Organisational Skills (PHSE)

Autumn Changes (half or full day with extension activities)

Meet the Squirrel and the Hedgehog in the Autumn season, preparing for hibernation and investigating the changes around them.

Focus:  Communities, Communication, Emotional Literacy, Art & Nature Connection‍‍‍

Stanley’s Stick (half or full day with extension activities)

All aboard, line up on the platform for the train to Stockport!  A programme based on the book, read back at school, the children follow the adv‍‍‍enture of Stanley, discovering the many uses of a stick.

Focus:  Communication & Literacy, Emotional Literacy & Nature Connection

From Sept 2018 Educational Programmes are priced at £9 per child for half a day (0930-1200), and £15 for a full day (0930-1445).  

10% discount applies to a full day Day Visit.  Full day Residential Progra‍‍‍mmes extend until 330pm, and residential discounts are available if staying for more than 2 nights.

The minimum payment for a half day of activities is £135, and £225 for a full day.

The Hungry Caterpillar (half or full day with extension activities)

An interactive programme based on the popular book.  Help the caterpillar find food and create his favourite dishes in the Dell, then make his bed, sing him to ‍‍‍sleep, and be surprised at his emergence!  Combines drama, singing and fun with a mud kitchen.
